The Sales Consultant and Designer will serve as a brand ambassador for SANIPEX Gallery and BAGNODESIGN, offering exceptional customer service and expert design guidance. This role emphasizes building long-term client relationships, delivering customized solutions, and creating CAD models or mock-ups to help clients visualize their projects. Key responsibilities include hosting lunch-and-learn sessions for potential customers, meeting KPIs, staying current with design trends, and ensuring compliance with company processes.
About the role
The role involves actively prospecting new business opportunities and generating leads, while building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients, interior designers, architects, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure high client satisfaction and sustained business growth. You will proactively identify and develop profitable customer opportunities, addressing customer complaints and queries promptly and effectively. Additionally, you will advise clients on product selection, design trends, and technical specifications to ensure their needs are met. Creating detailed CAD designs, mock-ups, mood boards, and other visual tools will be essential for aiding client understanding and design visualization. The position requires preparing and delivering professional presentations tailored to client needs, while striving to achieve and exceed monthly sales and performance KPIs by nurturing relationships and converting leads into successful sales.
Maintaining a strong understanding of products, design applications, and technical product characteristics is key, alongside staying up to date with design trends, innovations, and market developments to offer clients informed advice. You will organize lunch-and-learn events with the support of the showroom manager to showcase products, build relationships, and demonstrate their value. Ensuring that all client quotations and order processing align with company standards is crucial, as is processing client requests promptly and maintaining accurate records of client interactions and opportunities. Lastly, you will strictly adhere to SANIPEX Group’s Health & Safety, Environment & Quality policies in all aspects of your daily responsibilities.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years of sales experience in a similar role, with a preference for a degree in interior design or architecture. Expertise in CAD software is essential for creating accurate and visually impactful design presentations, along with the ability to develop mock-ups and design visuals that support client presentations. Strong sales skills and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets are required. The candidate should be able to work effectively under pressure and independently, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. A team-oriented approach, combined with a commitment to personal, divisional, and company goals, is crucial. Additionally, a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service are key qualities sought for the role.
