Commitment to our clients and superior customer service has always been an integral part of our brand DNA, with the customer always coming first. At BAGNODESIGN we are dedicated to servicing our global customer base with high-quality, trend-led products for designing beautiful bathrooms.
BAGNODESIGN is a boutique brand born in Dubai in 2006 under the Sanipex Group. BAGNODESIGN is now established as a Global Brand in the market. It grew quickly and became well established through passion for design, aspirational showroom displays alongside outstanding customer service and after sales care. All of which, today puts BAGNODESIGN in an extremely strong market position and with a reputation that we are all proud of.
BAGNODESIGN offers an extensive range of full bathroom solutions for all routes to market. Innovative and market leading design is what drives the BAGNODESIGN brand. We have the ability to move fast on trends thanks to our strong collaboration with the design community. From major global design houses to independent interior designers and architects across the globe, we take inspiration and trends insights from their requests and work closely with our supply chain to bring ideas to fruition.
Trading across Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa through our Retail, Trade, Project and more recently, Digital channels, all business is serviced from our logistics centres strategically based in Dubai, Milan, and Leeds. From the very beginning, we have understood the importance of stock investment for the convenience of our global customer base. To this day, we continue to adapt and invest into lean and high-tech warehouse systems to ensure reliable and timely deliveries for any size project.

News and Goals for 2023
In 2022 we invested heavily in elevating the BAGNODESIGN brand. Whilst design is at the heart of what we do, a reliable brand cannot depend solely on great design to uphold brand loyalty. We have always understood the importance of providing assured quality products, attentive aftercare, stock availability and personalized customer service. All of which we have made further investments in to ensure outstanding customer service continues through 2023 and beyond.
The most exciting investment for BAGNODESIGN is the development of two new comprehensive Bathroom ranges, Bristol and Orology. Both incorporate an array and diverse selection of new finishes, materials and textures that link cleverly into what we anticipate being the key design trends for 2023, from nature inspired to classical elegance, Orology and Bristol cover it all.
As part of our ongoing commitment to uphold our excellent quality and service standards, the biggest investment has been the combined R&D and Slab Fabrication Facility. It includes a world class testing laboratory, which gives us the ability to test and assure the durability of our products in house. As a result, we have been able to confidently lift our guarantee periods for brassware across all ranges. Giving clients peace of mind when choosing something new.
The new slab fabrication facility has a vertically integrated production process, which gives us complete control on lead times and unlocks the opportunity to manufacture bespoke and personalised versions of some of our bestselling ranges such as the Alpine Basins & Countertop collection. Choose from our comprehensive choice of on trend porcelain slab finishes to suit any design and space in both commercial and residential properties.
Training has always been at the forefront of BAGNODESIGN and as the business has continued to grow so has our investment to in-house training, developing the team’s knowledge to better service our customers. To add to this, we have invested further in stock holding to achieve best demonstrated lead times for the convenience of our customers.
What are the big bathroom trends for 2023?
Spa Sanctuary – Since we have spent a lot of time in our homes over the past few years, it is no surprise that spa inspired bathrooms continue to be a strong trend for 2023. There has been a desire to transform the bathroom into a tranquil space to escape, unwind and practice self-care. At BAGNODESIGN we understand it is not just about how the bathroom looks but also about the experience it offers. Our BAGNOSPA collection has a wide selection of Spa products which includes multi-function shower heads, with several models now available in subtle matt white to compliment any brassware finish. The collection also includes Whirlpool bathtubs with systems designed to rejuvenate the skin and private steam rooms (available in customize sizes) to help relax and detox the body.
Nature Inspire – Linking into the Spa trend, we anticipate continued growth of calming nature inspired products with organic textures such as fluted wood effect furniture and stone and marble effect basins, both of which we have incorporated into our new Orology and Bristol ranges. Subtle botanical colours such as greens and pinks have been the best-selling colours out of the wide selection of Botanical and Koy coloured basin collections. These colours were also a focal point at the last Salone exhibition in Milan.
Brassware Finishes – Finishes in the bathroom continue to be hugely successful for BAGNODESIGN.
A design trend that is here to stay for 2023 is warm brassware tones such as bronze and brass which work nicely with earthy and natural tones such as our terracotta concrete Bristol Basin and natural wood effect Orology vanity unit in Ebony.
We have recently launched two new warm and contemporary BAGNODESIGN finishes, Soft Bronze available in both Bristol and Orology collections and PVD Santiago, available in the Bristol range. Both finishes are already proving popular across retail and commercial projects.
What role does sustainability play?
Sustainability is always at the forefront of our minds, whether it be product development or energy and water saving choices, we have established a sustainability initiate to ensure as a team we are making sustainable choices and improvements.
Water saving has been our biggest initiative over the past year. As I mentioned earlier, we have a new slab fabrication facility, and as part of the manufacturing process, there is a lot of water usage which we were very conscious about from the offset. After some research, our team were able to find an efficient and innovative filtration system that was fully integrated into the factory. It takes the wastewater used to cut the tiles then recycles and purifies it to use again for the same process. This saves hundreds of gallons of water per day.
Further to this we launched our AQUAECO Kitchen Filter Tap with additional drinking outlet in collaboration with Liquid of Life who designed the filter system specifically for the local market. Suitable for use in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain. We have installed it in all our Kitchens within these Emirates, eliminating the use of plastic bottles. I personally have one of these in my home and would highly recommend it for the convenience of not having to buy and store water bottles and reducing use of plastic bottles, in turn reducing the negative impact on the environment.
As we have continued to grow over the last few years, the volume of deliveries increased and in turn so did the size of our carbon footprint. In early 2022 we combated this with ecofriendly biofuel. Produced from renewable organic material, we trialed and successfully implementing it across our full fleet of delivery trucks.
Other sustainable product categories available under BAGNODESIGN and AQUAECO include touchless mixers, touchless flushing systems, Smart WCs and flow-limiting devices for mixers and showers, which are becoming increasingly popular, not only in commercial washrooms but also for residential bathrooms, thanks to our wide range of colours and finishes.
If you must choose one product from the BAGNODESIGN brand, what would it be?
With our diverse range of trend leading BAGNODESIGN products, I found this question hard to answer. I absolutely love the new Bristol and Orology ranges but if I had to choose one product for my own bathroom it would have to be the Garda Inset Bathtub with the luxury spa whirlpool and milk system. The system is specially filtered to include more oxygen which can increase collagen levels to help keep me looking fresh and feeling rejuvenated.
